What does a locked report look like?

  • If you own the report, you can still read and edit it, and you can unlock it at any time.

  • If someone else locked the report, you can read it, but you cannot make any changes.

  • If you're an Admin, you can always read, edit, and unlock any report.

Locking a report does not affect PDF exports or shared links. People can still view and receive the report as usual.

If your report contains goals, they are not affected by report locking. Goals are a shared tool used across reports. Even in a locked report, users who have permission to edit goals can still do so. To lock goals, go to the Toolbox and turn on locking from there.
