Source - Google Search Console

This guide explains how to set up Google Search Console and the available dimensions and metrics to analyze your SEO keywords.

What is Google Search Console?

Google Search Console (GSC) is a free tool provided by Google that measures your website's performance in organic search results. It provides data on the queries (keywords) that generate impressions and clicks to your pages, as well as average positions in the SERPs.

In Spyne, the Google Search Console source lets you analyze your site's SEO performance directly in your reports and dashboards, alongside your paid data.

Connecting Google Search Console to Spyne

  1. Click your avatar at the bottom of the page, then select Workspace Settings.

  2. In the workspace menu, click on Integrations.

  3. Search for Google Search Console in the list of available sources and click the + on the right.

4. Name your data source and click Connect to Google Search Console.

5. A Google window opens: sign in with the Google account that has access to your Search Console property.

6. Grant the permissions requested by Spyne.

7. Indicate the GSC property (site) you want to connect.

8. Click Save to finalize the connection.

The Google account used must have Owner or Full User access on the relevant Search Console property.

Data Model

The Google Search Console channel is only available with the "Keywords" data model. Selecting this data model is required for your GSC data to appear in widgets.

Available Metrics

The available metrics for this source are: impressions, clicks, CTR, and session data (if an analytics source is connected).

Available Dimensions

Several dimensions are available to work with your GSC data: date dimensions and keyword text.

Data Availability

Data is available in Spyne up to D-1. However, over the last 3 rolling days, the data is not yet fully consolidated. Recent figures (D-1, D-2, D-3) may change before they are definitively stabilized.
